tonite on abstract science: PLAID
tonight at 10pm we are beyond excited to broadcast a special live performance by plaid. recorded at the empty bottle last april (one of our 10th anniversary celebrations), this set finds ed handley and andy turner in top form, dropping gems both new and old. we wish we could also feature the great visual work from filmmaker bob jeroc, but you'll have to see for yourselves. plaid is playing two shows in chicago this saturday, the first to kick off the "chill out" series at millenium park's museum of modern ice exhibit (sold out!) and a second set later that night at abbey pub. both shows should feature new music from their forthcoming album and new experiments by bob jaroc with reactive audio/visual software.
