tonite we welcome boston native/chicago transplant DJ C to throw down "his fiercely eclectic gospel of crunkment, mashstep, ragga-bounce, and grime-hall" in the WLUW studios. besides the constant work with his own label (turned website) mashit.com and his tunes with chicago's best ragga vocalist mc zulu, dj c has been exploding with remixes: retooling mia (on xl), warrior queen (on the souljazz), starkey (on dead homies) and ghislain poirier (on ninjatune.) not coincidently, dj c is playing with ghislain poirier, murderbot, and zebo downstairs at the subterranean this saturday, march 8!
