tonite on abstract science: CYRUS (of random trio)
dj set live in the studio
tonite we feature a special guest all the way from the uk: CYRUS (of random trio). his 2007 lp "from the shadows", on dj pinch's tectonic records, caused a stir in the dubstep world when the album track "indian stomp" was featured in alfonso cuarĂ³n's distopian film "children of men." further comparisons to photek and the "lucid urban dream/nightmare qualities of Aphex Twin" guarantee a less-than-ordinary set of dubstep.

tonite on abstract science: junior boys
recorded live @ empty bottle, may 2007
tonite we’re excited to air a live performance by popular and critically acclaimed canadian group, junior boys. since their debut in 2003, the junior boys have used their deft grasp of both electronic and pop music frameworks to catapult themselves to the unlikely position of indie stardom in the us and club favorites in europe. If you could but see their enraptured fans, it might explain why. special thanks to the folks at domino, the empty bottle and the boys.
