abstract science is proud to present part two of a two part recording featuring live performances from Deadbeat, Crackhaus (Deadbeat and Stephen Beaupré) and Stephen Beaupré at Smartbar last spring. This edition features the second half of the Crackhaus collaboration and is followed directly by Beaupré’s solo laptop performance. Although Beaupré is better known as a DJ in his hometown of Montreal, a stream of remixes and singles has led to the release of his first full-length on Akufen’s musique risque label. also included the tail-end of dave siska’s closing set. aired on wluw 28 september 2006. pictured deadbeat (scott montieth) + stephen beaupre in the 1962 gardens.
